The new CEO will focus on growing the brand in the Southeast Asian and Middle East markets.
Looks Salon India has appointed beauty industry veteran Samir Srivastav as its Chief Executive Officer. Srivastav joins the salon group from Jean Claude Biguine Salon & Spa, where he was the CEO. In his present role, he is responsible for leading the salon business and drive the growth strategy in different regions across the country.
Talking about his new role Srivastav, said, “Being part of a popular brand like Looks Salon is an honour. I am excited to merge my experience with global brands and introduce the latest innovations to build Looks Salon as a truly aspirational brand. In my current role here, I look forward to elevating the brand’s presence and offering bespoke services across markets in India and globally.” He is also planning to expand the Looks brand in the Southeast Asian, and the Middle Eastern markets, thus offering brand familiarity to the Indian diaspora in these regions.

In this, Srivastav will be working closely with the directors Samay Dutta, Sabhya Dutta and Shivam Dutta. Samay Dutta, Managing Director, Looks Salon, said,“Looks Salon is ranked as one of the Top 10 brands in the beauty and wellness space. Samir is particularly known in the industry for building brands using a champion framework. He has the right blend of experience and knowledge to lead the group business and scale the growth path. With Samir at the helm, we are excited to see the next phase of expansion for the brand.”
With Samay Dutta, Srivastav will focus on the rapidly growing beauty care and male grooming segments in the country. One of the key plans is to harness the latent potential in the male grooming market with the Looks Barber Shop, a salon service to meet the male grooming needs. Yet another expansion on the cards is The Salon Factory, where the brand plans to create a Skin Care & Body Care range of products and other essential beauty accessories under its banner.
